Country music festivals don’t appear out of thin air. They require extensive planning and coordination with a dedicated team of professionals who all have a role to play.

In this issue of our monthly newsletter, we would like to acknowledge team member Sam Burgess.

Sam, with her wealth of knowledge and expertise in the country music scene, is the co-ordinator for Capella Country Music Festivals walk-up program.

Sam is approached regularly to organise and/or judge talent quests all over the country, including Tamworth, Gympie, Charters Towers and countless country music clubs, so we are thrilled to have her looking after our Capella Shooting Stars.

Mentoring and supporting younger artists coming through the ranks is also one of her great passions, advising on material choices and career pathways, navigating the complexities of a sometimes difficult industry. We feel very fortunate to have Sam Burgess on our team. Thank you Sam.

Make yourself known and get your name on the blackboard for a great time at The Capella Country Music Festival.

With a galaxy of stars Capella Country Music Festival 2022 is going to be the biggest yet!

We have some of the country's best talent lined up, and we can't wait for the festival to kick-off and the entertainment to begin!

Events / Festivals and Gatherings to look out for

Here's a quick glance at some of what's happening around the region.

December is fairly quiet on the trail, but 2022 kicks off with a bang with the 50th Tamworth Country Music Festival.

14-23 January - Tamworth Country Music Festival

One of the world's top 10 festivals, and Australia's biggest country music festival, Tamworth is the place to go to see the biggest acts in the country music scene.

After a break due to COVID in 2021 the festival is back, bigger, brighter and brasher.
Come January the Victorian and Queensland borders will be open but please be aware that events may be subject to COVID restrictions, or cancellation.

If there is anything that you'd like to know about the Capella Country Music Festival, please feel free to hit the reply button and do not hesitate to ask.

Until next time, here's to good times and great country music.
